The most common is the sensor internals which we believe to fail from large fluctuations of high pressure within the fuel system. These fluctuations are more common on VR30 cars with upgraded fuel systems, especially when running e85, and the Red Alpha sensor’s more robust construction helps prevent failures. The connector issue however can happen to any vehicle at any level of modification, as the pins within the connector dislodge due to normal engine vibration.
