JDC Titanium Piston-Type Shift Knob

CNC machined from a solid piece of 6AL-4V Aerospace Grade titanium, this shift knob combines durability, weight, and craftsmanship into one high-quality upgrade.

Each knob is hand-brushed before receiving JDC’s proprietary anodizing treatment, producing the vibrant, long-lasting colors we’re known for. Weighing approximately 290 grams (10.5oz), the added mass helps promote smoother, quicker, and more accurate shifts while maintaining a comfortable feel in your hand.

Designed with reverse lockout compatibility in mind, this shift knob works with many modern manual transmission applications while adding a bold custom look to your interior.

How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
