I asked for a specific color and they came in absolutely perfect. Each and every one! I am extremely happy.
Great titanium set definitely worth the price
When installing titanium parts, it’s recommended to wear a set of gloves to keep the oil from your hands off the part. This is beacuse any oil(s) that gets on the titanium will cause it to look "faded." Worry not, this just means that you need to clean your titanium. Please remember to clean the part after installation before any heat is applied to ensure the oils are not baked on the part.
When you need to clean your titanium parts, we offer our very own JDC Titanium Cleaner, which is specially formulated to safely clean any titanium without hurting the finish. Alternatively, you can wash the part with soapy water and dry with a microfiber towel. You can also use a microfiber rag with Windex, rubbing alcohol, or a clorox wipe.
We do not recommend using any harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, or brake parts cleaner. You should also never use any type of metal polish or any acidic cleaner since these can both lighten or completely remove the oxidized layer on the part, leaving it colorless.
Important: Make sure your titanium parts are cool to the touch before attempting to clean them. Spraying water or chemicals on a hot part may cause water spots to appear on the surface, which can be hard to remove without tarnishing the colored finish.
JD Customs USA does not warranty the color finish on any part, but we will recolor any titanium part we sell for up to one year from purchase. If the part must be recolored due to improper care or cleaning, there will be an additional service fee applied depending on the size and quantity of parts. The buyer will be responsible for paying shipping both ways. This applies to the original buyer only.
