1989–1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R Suspension & Handling FAQ's

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What coilover rates work for a dual‑purpose R32?

Balanced street/track setups often land near 8–10 kg/mm front and 6–8 kg/mm rear with digressive damping. Add front camber (‑2.0°+) on 200‑TW tires.

HICAS—keep it or delete it?

For street, a healthy HICAS can aid agility. For track, many lock it out for stability and toe consistency, especially when lowered and on wider tires.

Any alignment/bushing notes?

Refresh multi‑link bushings and ball joints, check subframe mounts, and corner‑balance after major changes to reduce bump‑steer and tramlining.
