JDC Titanium Power Steering Cap

This solid titanium cap replaces the yellow OEM power steering cap and adds an updated titanium look to your engine bay. Each of our caps is professionally CNC machined from a single piece of 6AL-4V Grade 5 Titanium. Each cap is laser etched with the circular JDC logo on the top and is hand polished before receiving our proprietary cold anodizing treatment for colors that will last for a lifetime! Custom logos are available!

        (1) Titanium Cap Cover

Remove the entire plastic power steering cap and level gauge from the reservoir.

Use your hands to carefully pry the plastic yellow cap away from the white level gauge in a circular motion and remove it.

Use rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the top of the plastic level gauge where the titanium cap will mount.

After the level gauge is clean and dry, remove the backing tape from the titanium cap and press the level gauge into place. Hold firm pressure on the titanium cap to secure it to the plastic level gauge.

Make sure the cap is securely held in place before putting it back on your car.

Reinstall the cap on your car and enjoy the new look!

        FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
