Clutch Masters Internal Hydraulic Release Bearing (2023 Toyota Supra MK5 3.0L Turbo 6-Speed)
When it comes time to upgrading the clutch in your MK5 Supra, one often overlooked aspect of the upgrade is not considering that the throwout bearing, clutch fork, and slave cylinder were also all designed to be used with what is apparently a weaker then you'd hope for factory clutch kit. When developing a clutch kit for the MK5 we knew we wanted to cover all aspects of the hydraulics as well to give drivers that little something extra and offer a complete, rounded package.
Our internal hydraulic release bearing is a complete bolt in setup that bolts up where the factory quill does and replaces the OE throwout bearing, clutch fork and slave cylinder. This bearing is machined from 6061 billet aluminum and is then Type III hard anodized to make sure it withstands the rigors of what the part goes through when in the car. Included is a new high end, high speed precision roller bearing as well as replacement stainless steel lines to make this a simple bolt in affair.
Advantages when using a Hydraulic bearing:
Less moving parts such as the clutch fork and release bearing, as well as a wearing pivot ball.
Softer pedal feel
Consistent pressure for easier and smoother engagement.
Reduced shock to the drivetrain
