Prevent the factory intake scoop from collapsing under load with the COBB Intake Scoop Bracket for the 2017-2023 Ford F-150 and Raptor. Internally known by COBB as the "Torq-Snork," this simple reinforcement addresses a weakness COBB discovered while developing higher-output calibrations for the F-150 and Raptor platforms.

The factory intake snorkel uses a thin, flexible section that can deform as airflow demand and vacuum increase. The COBB bracket reinforces this area by sandwiching the factory snorkel against the radiator core support, replacing the original plastic retaining clips with secure hardware.

Why Does the Factory Intake Scoop Need Reinforcement?

During development of its performance calibrations, COBB found that the soft factory intake snorkel could begin to collapse under increased airflow demand. Because part of the snorkel's opening seals against the hood, deformation can further restrict an already limited airflow path.

The COBB Intake Scoop Bracket adds rigidity to the factory snorkel so it can better maintain its shape under load.

Simple Installation

Installation requires only basic hand tools. Remove the factory plastic clips with a flathead screwdriver, position the two bracket pieces around the factory intake snorkel and core support, and secure the assembly using the supplied hardware and Allen key.
