JDC Titanium Coolant Overflow Reservoir Cap

The JDC Titanium Coolant Overflow Reservoir Cap is professionally CNC machined from a single piece of 6AL-4V Grade 5 Titanium. This cap is a direct replacement for many Subaru applications listed below. 

Please read the installation instructions below before purchasing!

    The factory caps are made from flexible plastic which allows them to flex around the reservoir lip when installing. The titanium caps don't flex like plastic and will require you to lightly sand around the top lip of the reservoir cap in order for the titanium part to fit. Lightly sand around the lip until the titanium cap pops into place tightly. Don't worry! The factory cap will still work once the sanding has been completed, so there are no permanent changes made to the reservoir itself. If you are not comfortable making the slight adjustment for this part to fit, please do not purchase.

    • All titanium is colored to order unless otherwise stated on the item listing. Please see the banner at the top of the website for the current estimated lead times. Production time can vary depending on your order size, products ordered, and the difficulty of custom options requested.

    Bare Titanium/Stainless Steel:

    • In-stock items have a processing time of 3-5 business days.

    For orders without titanium, our average processing time is 2-4 business days.

    How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

    Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

    Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

    Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

    Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
