(1) JDC Titanium "Corvette" Badge with pre-installed 3M Adhesive.

(1) Adhesion Promoter Packet

If you would like for your new badge to sit in the same exact area as the factory badge, use painter's tape to outline the area before removing the factory badge.

Carefully heat your factory badge with a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive.

Using a plastic pry tool or fishing line, carefully remove the factory badge.

Once your factory badge has been removed, clean the leftover adhesive with rubbing alcohol or another adhesive remover.

Clean the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol.

Apply adhesion promoter to only the areas where the adhesive will stick to the car.

Remove the paper from the adhesive on the new badge and carefully press the badge into place.

Any fingerprints or smudges can be safely removed with JDC Titanium Cleaner. Windex or rubbing alcohol also works well to clean titanium.

GR5 Titanium (Grade 5 Titanium) is a premium alloy composed primarily of titanium, with small amounts of aluminum (6%) and vanadium (4%) for added strength and versatility. Renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, GR5 Titanium offers superior corrosion resistance, excellent heat tolerance, and remarkable durability. This makes it an ideal material for aerospace, automotive, medical, and high-performance applications, where lightweight strength and longevity are critical. Its ability to be anodized into vibrant colors further enhances its appeal for customization in industries like motorsports and jewelry.

How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
