JDC Titanium Door Sill Plates (GT-R)

The JDC Titanium Door Sill Plates are made to be a direct replacement for the factory aluminum door sill plates and will add an additional custom titanium touch to your interior! Each piece is hand brushed before receiving our proprietary anodizing process, which gives it the long-lasting vibrant colors we're known for.

        (4) JDC Titanium Door Sill Plates with 3M Adhesive

Heating up the factory door sills may help loosen the adhesive and make it easier to remove. Make sure to remove all adhesive left over from the original badge and clean the surface with rubbing alcohol to make sure the new badge has a clean surface to mount to.

JDC is not responsible for a badge that is lost or damaged due to a lack of proper adhesion.

GR5 Titanium (Grade 5 Titanium) is a premium alloy composed primarily of titanium, with small amounts of aluminum (6%) and vanadium (4%) for added strength and versatility. Renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, GR5 Titanium offers superior corrosion resistance, excellent heat tolerance, and remarkable durability. This makes it an ideal material for aerospace, automotive, medical, and high-performance applications, where lightweight strength and longevity are critical. Its ability to be anodized into vibrant colors further enhances its appeal for customization in industries like motorsports and jewelry.

How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
