JDC Titanium Radiator Cooling Shroud Plastic Clip Replacement Kit

This kit replaces the plastic clips on the radiator cooling shroud area with titanium hardware! Each kit comes with the hardware needed to add threads to each hole and allows you to replace plastic clips with titanium bolts. Each titanium piece is hand polished before receiving our proprietary anodizing process, which gives it the long-lasting vibrant colors we're known for!

          (4) M6x17mm Bolts

          (4) M6 Custom Washers

          (4) Rubber Well Nuts

This kit requires each hole to be enlarged with a drill to fit a rubber well nut.

Each hole needs to be enlarged with a drill bit to 1/2" so the well nut fits snugly. You can do this with a drill bit or a step bit. DO NOT drill the hole too big.

Once the well nut is in place, simply screw the bolt with the washer in place with an Allen tool until the bolt begins to get hard to turn. Do not over-tighten.

GR5 Titanium (Grade 5 Titanium) is a premium alloy composed primarily of titanium, with small amounts of aluminum (6%) and vanadium (4%) for added strength and versatility. Renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, GR5 Titanium offers superior corrosion resistance, excellent heat tolerance, and remarkable durability. How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
