GR5 Titanium (Grade 5 Titanium) is a premium alloy composed primarily of titanium, with small amounts of aluminum (6%) and vanadium (4%) for added strength and versatility. Renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, GR5 Titanium offers superior corrosion resistance, excellent heat tolerance, and remarkable durability. This makes it an ideal material for aerospace, automotive, medical, and high-performance applications, where lightweight strength and longevity are critical. How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
