Fix a sagging front bumper and make bumper removal faster with the JDC Universal Bumper Quick Release Kit. This setup is especially useful for lowered vehicles that need the front bumper removed for trailer loading, maintenance, or access to front-end components.
This is a universal kit and is not a vehicle-specific bolt-on application. Some vehicles have a suitable mounting point for the ball pin on the fender or headlight bracket. Other vehicles may require a custom mounting bracket to position the ball pin correctly.
Important Installation Information
No mounting brackets are included with this kit. Before drilling into the bumper, confirm that the ball pin can be mounted in a secure location and properly aligned with the latch. Custom fabrication may be required depending on the vehicle.
If you are unsure whether your vehicle has a suitable mounting location, inspect the area carefully before ordering or beginning installation.

Authenticity & Warranty
- We source all of our quick-release latches directly from Quik-Latch, the original manufacturer and patent holder of this design. Each latch features a unique serial number laser-etched on the back, allowing you to verify that it is an authentic Quik-Latch product.
- Be cautious of the replica and knockoff latches currently flooding the market. They may work initially, but cheaper materials and lower manufacturing standards can cause premature wear or failure over time.
- If you experience an issue with your authentic Quik-Latch hardware, contact us, and we’ll help arrange a free warranty replacement.

I bought new quick release buttons with titanium pins and absolutely love them. Before, I had cheap chinese buttons from Amazon that always ended up malfunctioning which led to constant bumper damage. Ever since installing the kit from JDC I haven’t had an issue and the fitment is great. Love the way it looks on my Evo X. Thanks JDC!

If your bumper protrudes from the fender after installing the kit, all you need to do is screw the ball pin a little further into the bracket until it fits flush.
