The Pro Series throttle body is CNC-machined from forged billet 6061-T6 aluminum for exceptional strength and durability. Using advanced Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) design tools, Skunk2 developed this throttle body to deliver significantly increased airflow while maintaining smooth drivability and OEM-style throttle feel.
Featuring a large 68mm bore, the Pro Series throttle body allows modified engines to move more air throughout the powerband, resulting in noticeable horsepower and torque gains. This makes it ideal for heavily modified naturally aspirated builds and forced induction setups where airflow demand is significantly increased.
Skunk2’s unique design relocates the MAP sensor underneath the throttle body and eliminates OEM water passages. This not only simplifies installation but also helps keep intake temperatures lower while providing a cleaner engine bay appearance.
