2023–2025 Nissan Z Suspension & Handling FAQ's

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What coilover rates work for a dual‑purpose Z?

Balanced street/track setups often land near 8–10 kg/mm front and 6–8 kg/mm rear with digressive damping. Add front camber (‑2.0°+) on 200‑TW tires.

Do sway bars reduce body roll without ruining ride?

Moderate bars control roll; avoid overly stiff fronts that induce push. Tune with alignment and rebound settings for bumpy roads.

Should I add camber plates/top mounts?

Yes—front camber is limited from factory. Plates enable proper camber for grip and tire wear, especially with 19×9.5–10.5 wheels and wider rubber.
