A velocidades más altas, el vehículo experimenta una mayor presión de aire bajo el parachoques delantero , lo que provoca una elevación y una menor tracción . Un divisor delantero redirige el flujo de aire hacia arriba y por encima del vehículo, generando carga aerodinámica para mejorar el agarre , la estabilidad y el rendimiento en curvas .

Para un máximo soporte y durabilidad a largo plazo, especialmente en conducción con poco esfuerzo o en pista, se recomiendan especialmente las varillas divisorias .
