Un kit de entrada de aire frío es una de las mejores mejoras que puede hacerle a su Subaru WRX STI. A los sistemas turbo les encanta introducir mucho aire y luego sacarlo de la manera más eficiente posible. Por eso, para mejorar la entrada de aire, Agency Power dispone de este completo sistema de entrada de aire frío con escudo térmico para el Subaru WRX STI.

Fabricada aquí en los EE. UU., la entrada de aire frío Agency Power utiliza un tubo de admisión rotomoldeado que ha sido diseñado para aumentar el flujo de aire y el rendimiento sin la necesidad de ajustar la ECU. Cada kit utiliza un filtro de aire cónico de alto flujo no solo para respirar mejor que el de fábrica, sino que también es reutilizable durante la vida útil del vehículo. Este filtro de aire cilíndrico de alto flujo presenta un caudal mucho mejor que el original y está diseñado para atrapar más partículas en comparación con un diseño de malla de papel. Con el nuevo filtro de aire, su turbocompresor puede respirar mejor de lo que permite la entrada de fábrica. Esto se nota cuando pisas el acelerador y escuchas el turbo funcionar (ruido de aire aspirado). ¡Suelta el acelerador y el ruido de la válvula de descarga de fábrica (zumbido) es más audible y te mantiene entretenido mientras cambias de marcha!

El escudo térmico de aluminio ayuda a mantener el aire forzado a entrar desde la parte frontal del STI directamente al filtro. Utilizado como barrera entre el motor y el filtro, también ayuda a reducir las temperaturas de admisión. Los escudos térmicos tienen un recubrimiento en polvo negro y cuentan con el logotipo "AP" de Agency Power.

Según lo probado en el Mustang AWD Dyno, la entrada de aire frío de Agency Power en el Subaru WRX STI generó +26 WHP y +34 WTQ.

The agency power Intake is awesome,

The agency power Intake is awesome, It does not require a tune, I had the trims checked and they are compatible for my car 2018 Sti. The ECU just has to be reset the long way. I have an agency power intake on the car prior to this purchase, purchased 5yrs ago. The price was too favorable to not buy another one when I saw it on the site. This intake does give the performance # s quoted and the testing mentioned in the listing was actually done by Vivid racing years ago on their Mustang equipment. For the 2018 Sti there is a reiforcement frame for the new stiff suspension and 19” wheel size so it has to be wormed in. I modified the intake tube and added /modified it while I was at it , so that a filter size of 3.5” front inlet can be used and this provides more filter options (ie oil,dry) and with a small bend 3.5 Alumiium tube 45* flange i fabricated that hooks up to product intake tube with an alteration with 3.5 to 3” silicone reducer . The total length of the intake tube is the same just the structuaral configuration has been altered.
This takes out the need for the worming in when installing the 2018 model . Easy in and out now.
The agency power intake provides a sweet unbelievable sound that the product comes with when installed. You feel the power that they mention and most important for this product is the torque gain. It is an entirely different car in sound and performance . If additional mods are planed the agency power intake will perform with even better numbers.
Totally recommend this product especially the metal shield which distinguishes this product simple but powerful This product exceeds the gains of any other Cold air intake products out there . Just totally AWESOME .
