Tradicionalmente, los técnicos montaban sus sensores de presión de aceite directamente en la carcasa del filtro de aceite, lo que proporciona una solución de montaje rápida y sencilla. La desventaja es que la vibración excesiva, especialmente a altas RPM, puede provocar un fallo o rotura del sensor.
