Please note that certain items used and/or installed by GrimmSpeed may potentially void portions of your vehicle's factory warranty. Please be aware of this when making any modifications to your vehicle. GrimmSpeed cannot be held responsible for any issues with compliance with your vehicle's factory warranty. 

Disclaimer: 

Please keep in mind that some GrimmSpeed products are made for high-performance use. The manufacturer cannot predict how rough the off-road terrain will be, how you drive, how hard you push the product, how well it is installed, or how it will work for your specific situation. Some of our products need specific skills to install, so it is best to have a technician or mechanic handle the installation. 

GrimmSpeed Limited Warranty: 

GrimmSpeed warranties GrimmSpeed branded products to the original retail purchaser that all parts/components manufactured by GrimmSpeed or sold under the GrimmSpeed brand, and directly purchased from GrimmSpeed or an Authorized GrimmSpeed Dealer honor a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in the materials and craftsmanship. (Excludes other manufacturers' components that may be part of a product's assembly such as a turbocharger, blow-off valves, etc.) This Limited Warranty is void on all products found to have been used in racing or off-road applications, of any nature, and on all products that show evidence of abuse, lack of proper maintenance, improper installation, misapplication, alteration in any way from GrimmSpeed’s original intent or design. 

If a GrimmSpeed branded product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace the product, without charge, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered, unmodified materials and abnormal workmanship are covered by this policy. 

Limited Warranty does NOT cover minor cosmetic inconsistencies due to the overall manufacturing process (such as, but not limited to, anodizing inconsistencies, molding inconsistencies, mold parting lines, etc.). Damage caused by abuse, vehicle accident, improper care or installation, negligence, or the natural breakdown of colors and/or materials over extended periods of time and usage is not covered by warranty. This includes items that were in contact with fuel, oil, and other fluids, as well as items exposed to long time heat. Some components are subject considered to be "Wear & Tear" items and are not covered by warranty. The use of thermal coatings, heat-wrap, insulation, or any coverings not intended for use by GrimmSpeed is subject to denial of warranty. Damage not covered under the warranty may be considered for repair for a reasonable rate or a reduced price for a replacement component. For information on this, refer to the "Wear & Tear" Section 

GrimmSpeed branded turbocharger upgrades (such as the Chase JB400 and Overtake BB500) are subject to a 1-year Limited Warranty from date of purchase due to the nature of high-power, maximum effort application and "Normal Wear & Tear." Excess boost, improper installation, lack of or improper ECU calibration/tuning, and/or use other than our intended use is subject to denial of warranty claims. 

Filing a Warranty Claim: 

The first step is to contact support@grimmspeed.com or (612)379-0000 during business hours and let them know of your issues/concerns. From there, a customer service representative will personally work with you to determine the best path forward. For the quickest service, we will need the following information for all Warranty Claims: 

1. Proof of purchase / receipt 
2. Current contact information (shipping address, phone number & email) 
3. Description and detailed photos of issue 
4. Supporting evidence 
5. Install date / estimate of time installed 
6. Name of installer 

All Warranty Claims must be initiated before returning or sending in any parts to GrimmSpeed. Warranty Claims will NOT be accepted on modified parts. 

Upon request from your customer service representative, your product must be returned directly to the GrimmSpeed Warranty Department at: 

Returns Department - GrimmSpeed - 1400 Randall Ct, Unit 104, Export, PA 15632 

An RMA number will be provided and must be clearly referenced on the shipping label and/or packaging. The Dealer or Customer will ship the component back to GrimmSpeed for inspection. The warranty is limited to replacement or repair of defective parts only and does not cover labor or shipping costs, vehicle down time or any other losses on your behalf. All Warranty shipments must be pre-paid and insured. GrimmSpeed cannot be liable for lost or damaged in-bound packages. 

If GrimmSpeed finds the product to be defective and within the warranty period, GrimmSpeed will repair, replace or issue credit to the customer at GrimmSpeed’s discretion. Any repaired or replaced product will be shipped via Ground shipping to the Dealer or Customer information provided during our initial Warranty Claims process. It is up to the Dealer/Customer to provide current and accurate information. Please note that no replacement warranty parts can be shipped until the original parts are returned to GrimmSpeed for inspection. 

If GrimmSpeed does not ask for the damaged/defective part to be returned, we trust that the Dealer / Customer destroys or discards this component. 

Normal Wear & Tear: 

Some products or components may stop working or become damaged due to regular use, which is not covered by our Limited Warranty. This type of damage is considered normal and inevitable. The GrimmSpeed Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship caused during manufacturing, but it does not cover normal wear and tear that occurs over time and with use. Wear and tear is damage that naturally happens as a result of regular use. Even if you take good care of your GrimmSpeed product and use it carefully, it will eventually show signs of wear and aging because it is a performance part. Examples of wear and tear that are not covered by the limited lifetime warranty include dents, scratches, and color changes caused by heat in exhaust components, as well as less common problems like flex-section wear and fatigue cracks over an extended period of time.
