HKS インタークーラー アップグレード (17-21 シビック タイプ R)

HKS は、徹底的な調査の結果、シビック タイプ R の標準インタークーラーでは、K20C ターボチャージャー エンジンによって発生する圧力を処理するのに不十分であることに気づきました。このため、エンジンの吸気温度が 90°C 近くまで上昇していました。

新設計のHKSシビックType-Rインタークーラーコアは幅100mm、純正インタークーラー比約200%の容量アップを実現。大型コア採用により圧倒的な冷却性能アップを実現しました。

また、純正インタークーラーの配管レイアウトは急激に曲がっているため、吸入空気がスムーズに流れず、ブースト圧損失につながることもわかりました。この問題を解決するために、優れた配管設計を採用し、スムーズな空気の流れを実現し、この損失を減らしました。
