The Shadow Turbo Timer uses an electronic simulation method to keep the vehicle in a "running" state after it is turned off. This allows the oil to continue circulating and exchanging heat with the turbocharger. By setting the ideal engine shutdown time with the timer, the risk of damage to internal engine components is reduced, as it ensures proper cooling.

When a turbocharged engine is turned off, the oil circulation stops, but the turbocharger itself can still be at temperatures as high as 900°C–1000°C, with speeds reaching up to 100,000 RPM. As a result, the turbo remains extremely hot and operates at high speeds even after the engine is turned off. Without proper oil circulation, the lack of cooling accelerates the wear and aging of critical engine components. By using the timer to control the shutdown time, the oil continues circulating, helping to lower the turbo's temperature.

The Shadow Turbo Timer can handle a high current of 12 volts (20 amperes) and is powered by a CPU for precise control, with an accuracy rate of 0.001%. This ensures that the vehicle shuts off at the optimal time to effectively cool and lubricate the turbo, ultimately extending the life of the engine and turbo components.Functions

The Shadow Turbo Timer is designed to work with both turbocharged and naturally aspirated (N/A) vehicles. It allows you to set the engine shutdown delay time anywhere from 10 seconds to 19 minutes and 50 seconds. Once the engine is turned off, the timer will begin counting down, and the vehicle will automatically enter the shutdown mode once the countdown is complete.

The turbo timer's casing is made from durable PC material, known for its impact resistance and high-temperature tolerance, capable of withstanding temperatures between 120°C and 130°C. Equipped with LED lights, the timer not only reduces the product's voltage but also enhances visibility. The bright LED lighting is designed to be easily readable at night without interfering with the driver’s view of important data.

The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. International shipping charges are not covered under our warranty policy. Please mail your package in a prepaid, traceable method to the address on our contact page.  Be sure to include your full contact info including your phone # with anything you send us.If you are sending us something to check, we will inspect gauges and senders for free.  If they work to factory specs there will be a $6 fee (in the US) to ship the items back to you. International shipping rates will vary. Be sure to include your full name, address, email, phone number along with the product and the name it was ordered under. Any items left more than 90 days unclaimed are subject to disposal.

All Prosport Products come with a 1 year limited warranty starting from the date of purchase(non-transferable).Physical damage, improper installation, and alternating the product will void all warranties. In no event will Prosport Inc. be liable for anything over the original purchase price of the product. In no event will Prosport Inc. be responsible for any labor charges.  After 30 days shipping is not covered under warranty and becomes the responsibility of the customer.
