True 76mm / 3-Inch Exhaust

The MegaPower RR uses 76mm, or approximately 3-inch, exhaust tubing throughout the system. The larger diameter is intended for modified naturally aspirated engines and turbocharged applications that need more exhaust flow than Skunk2's smaller MegaPower systems can provide.

This is a performance-focused exhaust, so expect a noticeably louder and more aggressive tone than the factory system or Skunk2's smaller-diameter street-oriented exhausts.

High-Flow MegaPower RR Design

The MegaPower RR is designed around maximum exhaust flow. CNC mandrel bending helps prevent the tubing from necking down through bends, while the straight-through muffler minimizes restriction at the rear of the system.

The system also uses application-specific tubing lengths and diameters intended to improve exhaust gas velocity and scavenging while supporting higher-flow engine combinations.

Sound

The MegaPower RR is one of Skunk2's more aggressive exhaust systems. Its 3-inch piping and oversized straight-through muffler produce a deeper, louder exhaust note than the factory system.

Skunk2 Performance Testing

Skunk2 has reported gains of more than 30 horsepower on a 2012 Civic Si when the MegaPower RR exhaust was combined with the matching Skunk2 Alpha Header/Downpipe.
