Grimmspeed Phenolic Intake Manifold/TGV to Engine Thermal Spacers greatly reduce the transfer of heat from your engine to the intake manifold which in turn reduces heat soak. By raising the intake manifold off the engine you create cooler intake temparatures and the air remains denser which leads to more power.
