JDC Under Hood Shifter Bushings | 08 US Models Only (Evo X)

The JDC billet under hood shifter bushings are designed specifically for the Evo. If you are having issues getting your car to go into gear, the factory bushings can be one of the leading issues. These are very simple to install and worth every penny! Changing to billet aluminum bushings from the factory rubber bushings will also greatly improve your shifting accuracy and give an overall better quality feel to each shift.

Please note:

  • Not all EVO X 5 speed shifter bushings are the same. US models built before Aug 2008 take two sets of bushings with an inside diameter of 21.5mm.
  • US Models built after Aug 2008 & some Non-US Models however take two much larger bushings measuring 33.7mm.
  • If you are ordering from overseas please make sure to take the time to measure your car for the correct set. To do this simply find the two cables as they attach to the top of the transmission. Push out one of the bushings and measure the inside diameter of the opening. If your cable opening is within 1mm of the US Version that is the bushing set you need. If it is within 1 mm of the NON-US version then please select the NON-US version.
  • Please do not assume that if your car is not a US model, you will need the Non-US version. It can be different based on the country you reside in. Please take the time to measure to be certain.

JDC Titanium hardware is backed by a Lifetime Finish Warranty covering fading or discoloration of standard JDC titanium finishes. This warranty applies specifically to qualifying JDC titanium hardware products. Products featuring custom logos, artwork, or special designs may not qualify for standard no-charge refinishing and could require a refinishing fee. Warranty does not cover discoloration due to improper use of chemicals.
