    Las tapas de fábrica están hechas de plástico flexible, lo que les permite flexionarse alrededor del borde del depósito durante la instalación. Las tapas de titanio no se flexionan como el plástico y requieren un ligero lijado alrededor del borde superior de la tapa del depósito para que la pieza de titanio encaje. Lije ligeramente alrededor del borde hasta que la tapa de titanio encaje firmemente. ¡No se preocupe! La tapa de fábrica seguirá funcionando después de lijarla, por lo que no hay cambios permanentes en el depósito. Si no se siente cómodo haciendo el pequeño ajuste para que esta pieza encaje, no la compre.

    How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

    Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

    Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

    Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

    Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
