      • Just like stainless steel hose clamps- be careful to not over tighten during installation. This may cause damage to your piping or coupler and may also cause the screw mechanism to skip teeth and no longer tighten properly.
      • We recommend wearing gloves during installation. If the colors on your clamps look dull or faded after installation, you'll need to clean them with our JDC Titanium Cleaner. You can also use Windex or Clorox wipes to remove oils from the clamp without hurting the colors. DO NOT use water spot remover or any cleaner with acid. This will remove the anodized coating, leaving your clamps colorless.

      How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

      Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface.

      Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner, designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes.

      Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.

      Tip: Always clean when parts are cool to avoid water spots or tarnished finishes.
