It's night and day literally. Swap the oem bulbs for jdc led conversion and you are in for a treat my fellow Evo 8/9 owners. Highly recommend!! The DIY is not hard either just repetitive.
I bought DIY kit and understand why the plug and play kit costs what it does due to the time and energy it would have saved. The bulbs are super easy to swap out, and just have to make sure to trim the correct amount off the new bulbs which is laid out in the instructions for you. It took about an hour taking my time and came out great! The stock bulbs were so dim and you don't realize it until the LED's are on. Just add these to your next order and thank yourself later!

Highly recommend for anyone who drives their cars at night. The old lights were very dim even turned all the way up, to the point I couldn’t see the trip screen, these are a much better option than the OE replacement bulbs.
