Q: How Do I Keep My Titanium Products Looking Brand New?

Installing: Wear gloves when installing titanium parts to prevent oils from your hands causing a "faded" look. After installation, clean the part before applying heat to avoid baking oils onto the surface. Cleaning: Use our JDC Titanium Cleaner , designed to safely clean titanium without damaging the finish. Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes. Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color. Evo X のカムポジションセンサーは、モーターの裏側、排気マニホールドから数インチのところにあります。排気マニホールドの高温により、高価なセンサーが早期に故障する可能性があります。特に、工場出荷時のヒートシールドのないアフターマーケットの排気マニホールドを使用している場合は、その傾向が顕著です。JDC チタンヒートシールドは、カムポジションセンサーを排気マニホールドの過剰な熱から保護するのに非常に役立ちます。

ハードウェアのカラーオプション:

ハードウェアは、デフォルトでヒートシールドに選択したオプションと同じ色になります。ハードウェアをヒートシールドとは異なる色にしたい場合は、チェックアウト時にメモを残すか、注文後に希望の色を記載したメールを送信してください。
ブラックシリーズのヒートシールドには、ツアーで選んだ色のハードウェアとそれに合わせたJDCチタンのロゴが付属しています。

Installation is very simple. Locate your cam position sensor on the backside of the valve cover area and remove the factory bolt as seen in the display pictures. Put the heat shield in its place and secure it with the new titanium mounting hardware and you're done!

Engine bay dirty but this peice makes the engine bay a little bit more nicer. Would recommend it to any Evo x owner for a little added protection easy to install.

Very beautiful piece, unfortunately my engine bay is dirty and plain looking but this piece give it a bit more style with protection. 10/10 solid titanium. Easy to install. Would recommend Evo owners just as an added protection.
