Alternatively, clean with soapy water, a microfiber towel, or Windex, rubbing alcohol, or Clorox wipes. Avoid: Harsh chemicals like water spot remover, engine degreaser, brake cleaner, metal polish, or acidic cleaners—they can damage the oxidized layer and remove the color.
