Build your own JDC Coil-On-Plug Ignition System using the same proven harness, mounting plate, and hardware found in our complete COP systems while supplying your own ignition coils.

Designed as an upgrade for the factory Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4-9 ignition system, this package is ideal for customers who already have compatible coils or prefer to source their own. You receive the core components needed to build a JDC COP system without paying for another set of ignition coils.

The system includes the JDC COP wire harness, your selected mounting plate, and the required mounting hardware. Simply add a compatible set of ignition coils to complete the setup.

Which Ignition Coils Should I Use?

For the best combination of performance and long-term reliability, we recommend using authentic Denso ignition coils.

Our two preferred Denso part numbers are:

• Denso 90919-02240
• Denso 90919-02265
• Denso 673-1306

Both coil options have been used successfully in Evo COP systems for many years and are widely trusted throughout the performance community.

Other ignition coils using Denso-style connectors may also be compatible, but fitment and performance can vary. If you are unsure about a specific coil, contact us before ordering so we can help confirm compatibility.

Why Choose the Hideaway Harness?

The optional JDC Hideaway harness is designed for enthusiasts who want the performance and reliability of our standard COP harness with a cleaner, wire-tucked engine bay.

It uses the same high-quality connectors, military-spec Tefzel wire, and protective wire sheath as our standard harness, but routes the wiring underneath the mounting plate to conceal more of the harness from view.

How the Hideaway Harness Is Different

• Both harness leads exit the valve cover on the right side
• Wiring is concealed inside a single protective sheath
• The right-side connector makes its connection behind the thermostat housing
• The left-side lead can be routed under or over the intake manifold
• The left-side connection is made behind the valve cover for a cleaner appearance

The Hideaway harness provides the same functionality as our standard harness while creating a much cleaner engine bay installation.
