These are direct replacements for the OEM Evo X coils and perform as well, or better than the OEM coils. OEM coils are available here.

As part of the ignition system, they are charged with the task of providing the spark plug with the high voltage required to generate an ignition spark between the centre and earth electrode of the spark plug and ignite the air-fuel mixture.
